Today is my sister Judie's birthday. She loves lavender roses - her natural skin care company is called Lavender Rose (www.thelavenderrose.com) - and so I decided to make some to send to her. We don't see each other as often as I'd like but I want her to know she's in my heart.I made the rolled roses using two spiral dies from MFT; first I distressed and separated the paper into two pieces to make it softer and more pliable. The color is actually Pale Plum, with mats of Concord Crush. The stem is from Fabulous Florets and the sentiment is from Watercolor Trio. Ribbon is Lavender Moon from PTI.
